British Theatre Dance Association

British Theatre Dance Association

The British Theatre Dance Association holds its Gala Weekend at Butlins Skegness each June with 2,000 students and parents attending from dance schools from across the country. The Gala gives them a wonderful opportunity to show off their talents as individuals and as part of a team, promoting their dancing schools with pride.

“We’ve been using Butlins for 13 years now. The facilities they offer are the main reason we return every year with no worries about accommodation, which is all taken care of. The venues provide the flexibility for what we want to do and in the evenings, there’s lots of entertainment on Resort for everyone to enjoy.

The Conference & Events team are, truly amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, together we’re always looking at how we can develop and improve the Gala for the following year.”
Helen Mence British Theatre Dance Association

The event makes use of all our entertainment venues throughout the weekend and we transform Centre Stage at the end of the break for a glittering show to close the event.

All Tomorrow's Parties

All Tomorrow's Parties

All Tomorrow’s Parties is an organisation based in London that has been promoting festivals and concerts throughout the world for around ten years. In order to meet the demand from their ever growing events, they needed to find a venue that could entertain 6,000 festival goers over a 3 night weekend. They also needed somewhere with professional venues and equipment to showcase world famous bands including the likes of Portishead.

“The reason we choose Butlins is because it’s perfect for our customers - our whole festival including sleeping and eating can be contained within the one venue. There’s lots to do on-site like the waterworld, cinema and funfair, which contribute to our guests experience as a whole and ensures there is more to offer at the event besides just the music.”
Deborah Kee Higgins, Director ATP.

For ATP we turn the Skyline Pavilion in to a huge standing arena that is big enough for all festival goers to see the headline acts together. Since their fi rst successful event at Butlins Minehead in December 2006, Butlins have hosted 8 events for ATP. The scale of the entertainment on offer is what keeps their guests coming back.

Spring Harvest

Spring Harvest

Every year over 40,000 guests enjoy Spring Harvest, Europe’s largest annual Christian conference event, at our Minehead & Skegness Resorts. Over 1,000,000 guests have attended the event at Butlins, many of them returning year after year.

“We first approached Butlins because of the sheer scale of their accommodation and conference offering. That was in 1986 and we still hold our annual events at Minehead and Skegness 23 years on! We’ve enjoyed the benefi ts of the brand’s development over the years, as they continue to invest in their facilities and accommodation which have transformed the Resorts into 21st century UK Holiday Resorts with conference facilities.

The quality and scale of the service that Butlins are able to provide from taking thousands of bookings on our launch days to the personal touch throughout our events is truly amazing.” Graeme Bunn, Director Spring Harvest

Every year Spring Harvest erect Big Tops that accommodate over 4000 guests on our Resorts. We work closely with Spring Harvest to ensure all operational aspects of the event run smoothly.

Easter and Spring Festival of Football

Easter and Spring Festival of Football

Easter and Spring Festival of Football (ESFF) is an annual weekend football tournament that has exclusive use of our 3 Resorts every year. It’s the UK’s biggest gathering of children’s football teams and since the first event in 1988, over ½ million families have taken part. One of the key reasons ESSF chose Butlins is for its safe and secure environment.

“The teams at Butlins make such a difference to us and are one of the reasons why we go back. They are always there at the end of the phone before the event and in person throughout the event to help ensure everything is absolutely right. It takes the pressure off us knowing the professional and consistent support is there.”
Martyn Young, Director ESFF.

Families who come to ESFF have the use of all our facilities and entertainment during their break. The football pitches are located both on Resort and in the surrounding area and at the end of the break, there is an end of tournament presentation in one of our evening entertainment venues.

We are proud to host sell out events every year at each of our Resorts for ESFF.
